My wife brought me here for Father's Day and we were not disappointed! She ordered the Middleswarth BBQ dry rub wings and a side of the crazy crissi fries (handcut fries, hot sauce, bacon, and house-made blue cheese dressing) and I had the corner burger with fries and slaw. We also had bacon wrapped scallops to start. First, the wings were super crispy. Well done! The dry rub, while having a similar color as Middleswarth chips didn't taste quite like we expected but it was still a delicious, smoky, BBQ flavor that was not at all disappointing! The crazy crissi fries are just awesome. The hot sauce tasted similar to Tabasco but I suspect it may be house made as well. The blue cheese dressing is killer, some of the best I've had. My burger was juicy, cooked medium as I preferred, topped with bacon, mushrooms, and smothered in that delicious blue cheese. It was a really great burger, perfectly executed, and the bun was also very good. Slaw was pretty standard but nothing to complain about! The scallops appetizer was very good as well, though the scallops were slightly overcooked. The bacon was crispy and delicious, however, and not soggy as is often the case with bacon wrapped things. The service was great! Bartender, sporting a fantastic beard, suggested the corner burger to me and was very friendly and helpful. I was also thrilled to hear that their bottle selection changes almost daily (presumably since they have a bottle shop next door). Overall, I would probably rank this place 4.5 stars out of 5. But, since I can't do that, I give them 5/5!

The Old Corner is a timeless classic in Lock Haven. You're guaranteed to have friendly service, great food, and a good selection of beers...all at reasonable prices. On a recent trip home, I had this odd craving for their house wings that I haven't had the pleasure of eating in over a decade. We ordered the western burger and a dozen wings. Let's start with the wings: they were just as awesome as ten years ago. They get them nice and crispy and then toss them with one-of-a-kind sauce. It's lightly creamy, garlic-y, vinegar-y, and sharp cheesy. I don't know how else to describe them other than delicious. The burger was good, but it was a little too much bread and a bit overcooked. They have great fries as well. If you're looking for bar food, this is your best option in Lock Haven. They have great soup specials too, which shouldn't be overlooked.

We made a repeats trip and ordered the same entrees. My husband orders the cheese steak and u ordered the grilled chicken salad ( it had French fries in it ). The service and going was worth the return trip. Local place, noisy but friendly.

Great bar food. Good Subs. Great burgers. Wings can be hit or miss, they seem to overcook them a lot.

Pulled into LH around 8ish on a Sunday night all the other places listed on Yelp were closed :( While crossing the street a woman outside the Old Corner rest/bar told us the food was good inside...well it was :) Everything was great, service, bar and drinks...highly recommend this place.

The old corner has fabulous wings and I had a great burger from there. However, I ordered a chicken quesadilla and was very disappointed. It is one tortilla folded in half. No flavor and was $8. Go to Hanger 9 if you want a delish quesadilla.

One of my favorite places to eat out at. Food is always excellent, and the service is friendly. It's really become a regular place for dinner. Be sure to try a western burger or fish sandwich. If I could change anything about the place it would be to expand it! Seating is very limited with only bar seating and a few tables. Makes it difficult to bring family or a group of friends. There is seating in the bottle shop but the ambience isnt the same sitting next to beer coolers.

In the words of 80's hair band rockers Poison, "You don't know what you've got, til it's gone". Truer words were never sung w/bad hair. The OC recently suffered a kitchen fire and has been closed (kitchen/bottle shop only) while rebuilding occurs and I feel like (what I imagine) an addict in need of a fix feels like! My husband and I spend the vast majority of our Sunday afternoons at the OC (we generally arrive at 11 when it opens, so we refer to it as our "church"). They have, hands down, the best beer selection around (always Otto's-Red Mo- and at least 2 other none mass produced beers on tap, as well as a great variety of bottled beers like Widmer Bros, Flying Dog, Troegs, Stone, etc). The food is great bar food. I've never ordered anything I didn't like. My standard go to's fluctuate between the burger, BLT, and house salad. We always start w/potato skins "w/both, real cheese". When the Yuengling battered shrimp are the special (it'd be a Friday), order them! If you like wings, the OC's are AWESOME, especially the Garlic Parm and the Mild-Hot. As a general rule, I don't care for fresh cut fries, but I DO like the OC's. Staff are attentive and helpful, even when it's crowded. It is a TINY place (2 4 tops, 1 6 top, 1 2 top, a small area behind the bar, and a 12-14 seat bar), so if you don't like crowds you'll want to stop by at an "off" time (hence our Sunday morning/afternoon trips). If you're in the Lock Haven area and are looking for somewhere to eat/drink, this is it. (So much so we've had a hard time finding anywhere else we want to go while the rebuilding occurs!). Thanks, Donnie et al, for great beer, great food, and great times!

Late stop in Lock Haven over night. We are starving and luckily found The Old Corner Grille and Bottle Shop. Service was fast and friendly. It was hard to choose because they have a pretty extensive menu, but we ended up with two tuna melts and buffalo fingers. The tuna melts were really good. There was so much tuna we needed forks to scoop it up. The chips and pickles that we're included we're great as well. My very picky husband ended his meal saying, "Hmm. That was pretty good." This is high praise from him! My son also really liked his buffalo fingers. If we lived in LH we'd definitely be regular customers. Thanks for a great late meal!
